This Cookie Policy explains what cookies autoedges.com uses and why.
What cookies are. A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember information between visits or requests.
Essential cookies (always on). We use a session cookie (av_session) to keep you signed in once you log in — without it, the site couldn't tell your browser apart from a stranger's on the next page you load. This cookie is required for the site to function and can't be turned off short of not using an account.
Analytics cookie (always on). We set a first-party visitor identifier (av_vid) so our own traffic stats can distinguish a new visitor from a returning one. It doesn't identify you personally and isn't shared with anyone.
Third-party analytics and advertising cookies (only if enabled). We support optionally connecting Google Analytics and/or the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. If and when we turn one of these on, that provider will set its own cookies in your browser under its own privacy policy, generally to measure site traffic and ad performance. At the time this page was published, [state here whether Google Analytics / Meta Pixel is actually turned on — check Settings in the admin panel].
Payment cookies. When you check out, Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies as part of securely processing your payment and preventing fraud. We don't control these directly — see Stripe's own privacy and cookie documentation.
Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in. Blocking analytics/advertising cookies won't affect your ability to browse or buy.
Changes to this policy. We may update this Cookie Policy as the cookies we use change. The version posted on this page is always the current one.
